fall is sweeping in

savory apple tart

savory apple tart [caramelized onions, cheddar, prosciutto] - just one of the creations from our many apples.

tall, autumn trees

beans&biscuits

this weekend was a perfect one for camping. we got away to the woods and soaked up the sunshine and cloudless days one last time. the evenings were chilly enough to bundle up and enjoy barbecue beans & biscuits, made in the dutch oven.

+ a batch of granola is due to be made

+ for some reason, i've got christmas on the brain
+ busy, but managing to give notice to the simple things

  2. Your tart looks so good! As fall is winding down here I'm looking for more recipes like that one to make on the chilly nights. It looks so much like Summer's tart recipe -- have you seen that one?

you + I both have Christmas on the brain: it's not too far off!

  8. amanda-- the tart is very similar to summer's! sarah- it is a simple crust-- whole wheat with herbs, and then just throw in your ingredients. very flexible!
