our little cottage, decorated for the season. styling the entryway must be one of my most favorite things to do.
the details:
-mixed cedar garland hung around the doorway
-a simple pine wreath, dressed up with leaf & berry clippings from the yard, and a green sparkly bow
-a spindly siberian spruce, potted & glitzed with metallic ornaments
-thrift shop basket filled with cinnamon pinecones
-mason jar with long cinnamon sticks (picked up on post-christmas clearance last year @ west elm)
-thrift shop sled, with a homemade swag and shiny green ball
-potted cabbage & metal star ornament

Oh wow it's gorgeous! So many details. We have an old sled out front too, and a wreath, but none of the other gorgeousness you've put together here. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteso pretty! this is my first year decorating our front porch. all we have is a wreath and some little christmas trees. our proch has this awkward side area that needs to be filled though. maybe i will use some these ideas for next year!

I love what you've done especially the potted cabbage and the sled (we have one of those from my childhood that I should dig out!) Anyone would immediately feel in the holiday spirit upon your door step!
