check out this fresh-out-of-college gal's chic pad. she enlisted the help of her mother, an interior decorator, to style her tiny brooklyn heights apartment on a dime. they used family heirlooms, craigslist finds, and plenty of creativity to create the perfect "first nest".

  2. This is the kind of stuff I find most inspiring. Real. Raw. Fresh. They did a GREAT job. It totally reminds me of that quote: "Do what you can, where you are, with what you have." And it turned out fabulous.

  4. How inspiring. I lived with very little money for a long time, and even then I bought flowers on discount because I just NEED flowers. Beauty is important.
